Good
question!
Life
coaching is about helping people to live their best lives and, as you can
imagine, this can take many different forms. A few examples include working with clients to:
You can
think of a life coach as a guide who helps you clarify what it is you really
want out of life. As such, we don’t tell you what to do; instead, we ask
powerful questions and use a broad range of tools from a variety of disciplines
to help you find the answers that already lie within you. We then work with you
to help you figure out how to make those answers reality.
Whether you
have only a vague idea of what direction your life needs to take, or you know
exactly what it is you want and how to get there, a life coach is skilled at
helping you identify and overcome both conscious and subconscious obstacles (limiting
beliefs, blind spots, fear, grief, anger, inadequate organizational skills,
poor time management, etc.), so you can move forward effectively and
efficiently.
It is these
obstacles that keep us from making progress, following through, or that lead us
to make the same mistakes over and over again. They hinder us and can stop us
dead in our tracks. To make matters worse, we often don’t see them. We don’t
even know they’re there. We just know we’re not succeeding, not making progress,
not able to take action.
But help is out there…
But help is out there…
So if you
find yourself struggling to set your goals into action, are dissatisfied with
the current state of your life, know you should be doing something else but
aren’t sure what, have personal or professional relationships you want to
improve, are experiencing life transitions, or are faced with reinventing
yourself after crisis, life coaching can help.
